Such a pleasant book. I liked the previous one and I'm happy the author improved on it and delivered an even better read. It's a light fantasy story, with a romantic element to it. The two main characters are really cute, I couldn't help but root for them. There is a good world building in the book, with the author elaborating even further on the religious aspect of the saga and the actual gods themselves. And I love that we are quickly shown that those gods not only exist, but are directly interfering with the world, instead of being some mystical spectators.The book is a little short. And the author needs to work some more on the fighting sections, as those are still rather simple and underwhelming. Also as a personal preference, I would've liked to see some eroticism as well - for a book that focuses so much on the romance between the characters, it never went further than a light kiss.Lighthearted, pleasant book. The kind you read and then continue your day with a smile on your face.
